ACCLIMATION

  1. Following proper acclimation steps will insure your new animals will thrive in their new environment.

  2. Open the box carefully in a dimly lit room with aquarium lights off.

  3. Float all the bags unopened in the aquarium 15 to 20 minutes to acclimate to the temperature of the tank.

  4. Remove all rubber bands or cut underneath them to add a small amount of tank water to each bag. Repeat this step three to four times over the course of about 20 minutes to double the original amount of water in the bag.

  5. Discard bag water by pouring through a net into a bucket and carefully place each item into the aquarium.

  6. Coral should be placed in the appropriate location for flow for lighting needs and snails should be placed upright against the aquarium glass or on live rock.

  7. Keep the aquarium lights off for at least an hour, longer if possible, doing this will insure everything has time to adjust properly.
